I’m an avid hiker and get outside whenever possible! I also do just about every other activity (not well, but I do it) such as paddle boarding, snowboarding, rock climbing, swimming, triathlons, scuba diving, and am currently looking into mountain biking to try my hand at Adventure Racing.

My life is well-documented, wherever I am, whatever I am doing, as I’ve been obsessed with cameras from childhood.  I received a degree in Photography from Grand Valley State University, and while doing so, took an elective class in environmental science.  Who knew how cool that stuff is? So…naturally, I had to pursue that field as well, and have a degree in Natural Resources Management with an emphasis in, you guessed it, Environmental Science.

I currently reside in Los Angeles, but I’m never there for more than a week. There is too much of this world to see!
