Yes, of COURSE we hiked to the confluence! No, of COURSE we didn’t leave early enough. Worst decision ever - we got lost, Amy had a panic attack on a cliff, and we had to climb up slippery wet chains in the dark, with one headlamp between 2 people. Amy’s headlamp fell in the water during one of several river crossings, and turned out not to be (supposed to be) waterproof. Thank you REI for replacing it!

Ate more Indian bread than I’d like to admit. But would do it again with pleasure.
